    Perspectives with President Roth: The Foundation of a Cardinal Community
    Join Wesleyan President, Michael Roth (’78) as he communicates his vision for what makes a Wesleyan education so distinctly excellent. President Roth returned to Wesleyan in 2007 to serve as the President, but also spends significant time engaging with the community, as well as teaching most semesters. Come prepared with questions to ask, as this will primarily be a Q&A session.

    Chill & Chats
    Chill & Chats are an opportunity to connect admitted students with current Wesleyan students in a casual setting (no admission deans allowed!). These sessions are led by current Wesleyan students and are quite literally a chance to chill ‘n’ chat. Admitted students are welcome to come to as many sessions as they would like. Join us on Monday evenings (either 7 pm or 9 pm EDT) to get excited about Wes!

    Parent-to-Parent Q&A
    These events are exclusively for our parent population. This panel is an opportunity to connect prospective parents of Wesleyan, with parents of current Cardinals. This is your opportunity to ask those burning questions about what it means to be a college parent and being a member of the Wes community.

    Alumni Panels
    Wesleyan and the World: International Perspectives on Wes
    A Wesleyan education is a global education. Nearly one in five Wesleyan students comes from outside of the United States. We want to ensure that you feel at home in the Wesleyan community. This event will connect prospective students and their families with international parents and alumni, who will be prepared to talk about their experiences as a part of the Wesleyan community. There will also be opportunities to discuss making Middletown, CT home as an international student. This event, while targeting international students and their families, is not limited solely to international students and their families.

    While it may seem years away now, soon you’ll be graduating college, and joining a network of professional Wesleyan Cardinals. Join these Young Alumni, as they discuss their experiences in Middletown, and how it’s shaped their personal and professional trajectory, while also talking about their experiences leveraging the alumni network, as they’ve begun their professional journey.

    This panel, presented in Mandarin, provides the opportunity for Chinese prospective students and their families to engage with Chinese alumni and Wesleyan community members about the Wesleyan experience. Come prepared with questions and be prepared to visualize Wesleyan University as your home away from home.

    Self Care Session: Unwind with Wes
    Interested in prioritizing your holistic well-being? Please join us for a workshop that will explore simple ways to cultivate wholeness, centeredness, and increased self-compassion. All are welcome. Led by Rabbi David Teva and students. Rabbi David is Wesleyan’s Director of Religious and Spiritual Life who also teaches Mindfulness on campus.

    While registration is open to all admitted students and their families, these events are designed to provide historically underrepresented* students with additional information about Wesleyan. Please keep this in mind as you register, thank you!

    *This includes, but is not limited to, students from groups who have been historically underrepresented in higher education such as Black/African-American, Hispanic/Latinx American, Native American, and Asian-American, in addition to LGBTQQI, first-generation college students and/or those from families with limited financial resources.

Panelists will discuss their experiences on campus as students coming from historically underrepresented backgrounds, from the resources that they have discovered to the community that they have found, they will discuss it all! You will also have opportunities to ask your questions directly to our panelists, so come ready!

    OJO: ¡Aquí se habla español! Traiga sus preguntas y curiosidades a esta hora de visita informal con hispanohablantes de la oficina de Admisión. Aprovecha esta oportunidad para hablar con un decano de admisión y una directora de ayuda financiera sobre el proceso de aplicaciones, becas u otra información sobre la universidad. Además, nos acompañará una estudiante actual para compartir su experiencia de vivir y aprender en Wesleyan University. ¡Nos vemos pronto!

    ATTENTION: We speak Spanish! Bring your questions and curiosities to this informal drop-in hour with Spanish-speakers from the Office of Admission. Take advantage of this opportunity to speak with an admission dean and financial aid director about the application process, financial aid, or other details about the university. We will also be joined by a current student who can share her experience living and learning at Wesleyan University. See you soon!

    Generations of Wes
    What does life look like after Wesleyan? Join us on Saturday, April 9th at 2pm for a conversation with a panel of alumni from a range of graduation years. During this intergenerational panel you will learn how our graduates are shaped by their time at Wes, and how their experiences empower them in their professional and personal lives. This is your chance to not only get a glimpse of life after Wes, but also to learn about how Wesleyan has changed over time and how alumni come to reflect on their time on campus.

    Practical Passion: Open Curriculum, Open Career
    How do I make sure my major will help me get a good job after I graduate? Are pre-med and pre-law really my best chances to have a high paying job? First-generation college students often bear the burden of choosing between their passions and financial responsibility. But what if your passion IS practical? Hear from our special panel of First-Generation, Low-Income students as they share their academic journeys and professional opportunities in the Humanities, Social Sciences, and STEM. They will be joined by Sharon Castonguay, Director of the Gordon Career Center, for a moderated Q&A.

    Self Care Session: Unwind with Wes                        
    Making a decision about where you will spend the next four years of your life is stressful. All big decisions are! When we are living day to day with chronic stress, we start to feel a toll on our body, mind, and spirit. And when that happens, our ability to make good decisions can be negatively impacted. Join Dr. Jen D’Andrea on Wednesday April 19th at 6 PM for a virtual self-care session. We will talk about stress and its impact on the body and mind, and then we’ll consider ways to better manage it in order to take care of our wellbeing. We will also talk about some strategies you can use to enhance your decision-making process. Hope to see you there!

    QuestBridge Event
    This event will be a virtual info session and Q&A with the current members of the Wesleyan Chapter Executive Board. The board has compiled a list of what they wish they knew as incoming students that we will discuss, including topics like financial aid, work study, other resources on campus, how to get involved with the Wesleyan Chapter, and many more! After that, there will be an opportunity to ask questions about anything that hasn’t been covered and a chance to get to know some of the other 2026 questies!

    Join us on the Wesleyan Facebook page for two Live question and answers with current Wesleyan students. These are opportunities to learn about Wesleyan in a less structured and casual setting, and get questions answered by our students.
